Thanks to the long seven week break, I have decided not to watch the show when it comes back on in two weeks and will read recaps instead. I guess I would consider the long break the moment that this show has jumped.

I'm watching all the shows I missed originally. Better than new 90210.

I heard that "Donna" is still in salary negotiations with the new show. The original had way too much Donna even if Daddy ran the show. I don't want Donna to overpower the new show!!

Stick to watching the original and classic Beverly Hills 90210.

What is with taking a two month break after two months of shows? Is anyone going to care when the show is back in January? Will anyone remember that the show is on? The only reason I would tune in would be to see if the woman who plays Naomi learns a third facial expression.

Show is harrrrble.Only good character is grandma from arrested development. All the kids are annoying.Rob Estes is terrible casting as a principal, and that hipster english teacher is so cliche. Of course, a chick already od'ed and went to rehab. And they stole that whole ex-girlfriend from high school lives next door bit from the OC, only they actually threw some unwanted kid into it that they gave up for adoption. If this show was on any other channel it woulda been gone already, but the wb will probably keep it around for a while, unfortunaltly for tv watchers everywhere

Personally, I don't really care for the new 90210. I would much rather watch the reruns of the orignal series. I watched like maybe two or three of the new episodes of the new 90210 and lost interest after that. So I'll just stick to watching the old Beverly Hills 90210.

I could not even watch the entire first episode, I was so disgusted by the "new" 90210. I have always been a fan of BH 90210 and to this day still watch the reruns. But I just knew when they decided to resurect the series that it would in no way be able to recapture the essence of the original show. The new characters are boring and I have to say that Shannen Doherty has aged so badly. I feel for her - she has overdone botox or had a bad face lift - she looks bloated and old, much older then her 35+ years. Jennie Garth still looks good but it's sad that she needs this job to keep herself in the spotlight. Both of them were done when the first 90210 ended - they should stick now to Lifetime movies.

This show should be axed after season 1.

90210 never jumped- at least not yet! It's not the original- but then again, it's not supposed to be. I like the characters, and also enjoy seeing old favorites coming back. So far so good!

this is how kids speak these days (i'm 23, i know) yes, even 15 y/o's. hell when i was in high school "this sucks" wasn't not what kids said to their parents... it was worse language

To the previous poster, nancyeathy, give it break woman! This show is not set in the 1950s. This is high school life now. I think the hot dad is definitely HOT and so is his wife. True, I've never known a principal to ever be this smokin' hot but this is Beverly Hills. People in BH are just different. This is a cool show. I'm a fan of the original but I don't live in a time warp. I think the new show is hip, updated, and very cool. Plus the grandmother is freakin' HYSTERICAL. I love it.

I grew up with the old show and despite the cheesiness, it was a thousand times more watchable than this nonsense. I was also dismayed that the two parents allowed the son to speak that way without batting an eyelash, not so much because of the disrespect factor, but because it was such a lame ploy to make the parents seem cool. The hot dad is supposed to be a principal, do not tell me that such language from his own child would pass muster with a man whose livlihood is discipline! Totally disappointing.

I like the new 90210. Seeing Kelly and Brenda back together again is very cool (although the producers are morons putting these two on camera for like 30 seconds in the first episode). After the first episode though Brenda was on a lot and it was cool to watch her back in BH again. I'm sorting of getting attached to the new characters and storylines. I think it's a cool show. Give it time people. No show ever gets you hooked right from the first episode.

I had pretty low expectations for this show from the getgo, and its pretty much met all of them. The best reason to watch is that Annie chick. She's pretty fine. Other than that, the plots are weak, like you'd expect, and the acting isn't great. The kid that looks like puff daddy is pretty annoying too. Unfortunately there isn't much else on on Tuesday nights, so I will continue to watch this for a few minutes every once in a while until I get disgusted or bored and then go find something else to do.
